Lovely example of the stylish 1962 Studebaker Hawk GT. Local car that has resided in private collection for the past several years. Original 289 cubic inch 4bbl engine which was rated at 225hp. Quite rare factory 4 speed manual transmission. Body is nice and straight with very presentable paint. Interior has been redone correctly in nice leather. Dash is excellent, as are the carpets and headliner. Chrome is all new and looks fantastic. Car runs and drives beautifully with the clutch, synchros, brakes all very strong. Engine compartment and trunk are very correct and largely untampered with. Car has always been well maintained and never driven in inclement weather for many years. Still has the original owners manual and two sets of factory keys. All gauges, lights, signals etc. function as they should. Wheels and hupcaps are correct and tires are nearly new. We took this car on a 50 mile trip recently and she performed wonderfully. Just a true classic awaiting its next proud owner.
